Born in Rome, Rita Di Santo is a film critic and historian. Doctor in Literature, freelance reviewer for various national magazines and newspapers, she moved to London in 1997. Continuing to work as correspondent for Italian press, she started working freelance for British press. Currently, she is the film critic for the Morning Star, writing weekly reviews and regularly reporting from festivals. She is a contributing author for various publications and is a member of the UK Film Critics' Circle, as well as a member of the FIPRESCI.
