Jorge Jellinek

Jorge Jellinek (Montevideo, Uruguay). Journalist and film critic since 1982, majored in Anthropological Studies. Has collaborated in several national and international publications, and in radio shows and writes in the weekly Tiempos del Mundo. He also collaborates with the International Film Guide and with magazines like Cineaste and various web sites. He is vice president of the Asociación de Críticos de Cine del Uruguay (FIPRESCI section), and has served as juror in several international festivals. He is now the artistic director of the International Punta del Este Film Festival.
