James B. Evans is an Anglo-Canadian film critic and historian who has contributed to several journals such as Cinema Scope, Electric Sheep, Little White Lies, Total Film and written chapters for books such as Under Fire: A Century of War Films, The Directory of East European Cinema and London As a World Cinema Location. He is also a part-time University lecturer in Film Studies.
