Aylin Sayin Gonenc is Turkish film critic, one of the founders of the magazine Yeni Film. She is currently working on her PhD thesis, “The Construction of the Autonomous Field in Turkish Cinema after the Nineties.” Aylin has researched Indian cinema, and published a book on India and Indian film from a sociopolitical standpoint. She also hosts a radio program in Turkey on Bollywood cinema and its music.
