“Before We Go” wins Critics’ Prize at IndieLisboa
At the 12th International Independent Film Festival IndieLisboa (Lisbon (Portugal, April 23 – May 3, 2015) the jury saw the first and second films in the “Silvestre” section and presented the FIPRESCI Prize to the documentary “Before We Go” by Jorge León (Belgium, 2014, DCP, 82 min). Motivation: “A unique and deeply humanizing documentary portrayal of the body and the fragility of life in old age.” Jury members were: Klaus Eder, Germany (www.fipresci.org), Carmen Gray, Great Britain (“Dazed”, “Sight & Sound”), Manuel Halpern, Portugal (“JL-Jornal de Letras”).
