Our federation gives two prizes at this major event: one for a film in competition - this year it went to Suely in the Sky (O céu de Suely) by Karin Ainouz (Brazil, 2006). And one for a film screened in the Greek Panorama: it went to Eduart by Angeliki Antoniou (Greece, Germany, 2006).

Suely in the Screen. The relaxed presence of Wim Wenders and Walter Salles made for a friendly festival but José Carlos Avellar argues their road movies drew allusions to Suely in the Sky, a fictional film in competition played like a documentary.
