Aksel Hennie has won reputation as an actor in a dozen Norwegian
films released in the last six years. He was named by the European Film
Promotion one of the "Shooting Stars" of European cinema in
2004. Now he made his debut as writer and director: Uno is the
title of his first film which was premiered at the Norwegian festival
of Haugesund, in August. Our jury saw it in Kiev, at the "Molodist
Film Festival" dedicated to young cinema, and awarded it the Prize
of the Critics. A short film from Iceland, The Last Farm by Runar
Runarsson, received our prize as well. Details ![]()
