"Hello" by Jonathan Nix" |
The Annecy Festival offers a marvelous opportunity to
see animated films. Our jury saw all films in the competitive section
and decided for "Hello" as best film, directed by the young Australian
filmmaker Jonathan Nix. It's a short animation of 6 mns and 30 secs.

Annecy Under the Sun. "For years the
Annecy Festival has been a major date for all lovers of animated films",
writes NT Binh in his overview on the festival and its program. 
"Hello" — Or What's Love Got To Do With It. "Everything
on the screen tells the viewer something about social behaviors", writes
Leonardo D'Esposito in his review of the prize-winning film. 
Moving Paintings and Other People. Nadezhda Marinchevska
found "a variety of ideas, techniques and approaches" being realized
in various sections.
