Mumbai 2003

Gopalakrishnan, the wellknown Kerala filmmaker, received the International
Critics' Prize at the International Film Festival of Mumbai, for his latest
film "Shadow Kill", the psychological, social and political
study of a hangman. The festival, organized by the Mumbai Academy of the
Moving Image, had this year introduced a new competition dedicated to
new Indian feature films. Our jury awarded as well a Special Mention,
to "Freaky Chakra" by V.K.Prakash.
