Award CeremonyFinnish filmmaker Aki Kaurismäki received the »FIPRESCI Grand Prix 2017« at the opening ceremony of the San Sebastián International Film Festival on September 22. "The Other Side of Hope" (Toivon tuolla puolen) has been voted best film of the past year, by our members. FIPRESCI President Alin Tasciyan presented the prize to Aki Kaurismäki.
